All my life my dream is to study to become a driving instructor where

All my life my dream is to study to become a driving instructor where I'm able to teach driving to hearing impaired people. Most people would say that its not possible but, I am yet to disagree with that statement. My parents told me that the profession of teaching special needs people is a waste of time but, that's what I want to do with my life. Its always good for women to prove a point to the world that they are capable and able to do anything we put our minds to.

I applied to school of driving instructor and was accepted to start first semester in 2 weeks time. The fees were a bit expensive but, I managed to pay everything off so, I could beginning my classes on time. The course was in two parts theory test and practical test which I was prepared for. The school was equipped with all different types of vehicles so, you're able to experience all the types. It looked impossible seeing myself driving a truck or a big van but, that was driving for you. There were all types of driving instructor from different countries who lectured on campus and strangely enough there were disable lectures teaching also. The entire set up of the institution was amazing. There was even a driving instructor library and it had everything.

My classes had started and so far everything was going well. During my first class we did theory where we learned about the parts of the vehicle and the functions. I was so excited learning all these information that I hardly knew anything about. The instructor was fairly straightforward in his explanation as to how the vehicle is operated and maintained. The instructor informed the class that to be successful at being a driving instructor is to know your vehicle thoroughly. We had constant pop quiz and demonstration of how to change oil and much more. I must say that the class was getting interested. The most difficulty for me was going around the steering wheel and driving. We had to practice consistently to master the art of driving but, I managed to pass. The next challenge was to be an instructor in the car with a student. This proved to be difficult because, you have to be patient and you have to understand that this person is a novice to the art of driving and its my responsibility to teach this person. The student to my dismay was very slow in learning so, I had to repeat myself often. The school prepares you for all types of people so, that part of the course was pretty difficult. All in all I completed the course and graduated at the top of my class. Determination to me is always the inspiration for success.
