I'm currently looking for schools for my daughter to take her driving

I'm currently looking for schools for my daughter to take her driving test. I remember how excited I was when I got my license, and I can only imagine how exciting it must be for girls...or, as she would prefer me to say; for women, of her age. After a bit of searching I found a place that I decided to call up and find out the fees. Turns out it would only be $30 for my daughter to take the driving lessons, certainly a fair deal, and I jumped right on it.

When we got to the driving school, they gave my daughter the written test first, and then tested her vision by having her take a quick eye exam. She was then introduced to one of the schools female driving instructors. As I looked around I realized that this driving school was comprised of mostly female driving instructors. Which is by no means a bad thing. In fact, it may be a bit presumptuous but I would have much rather have had female driving instructors back when I was getting my license than the nerve wrecking guy I had as my instructor. That guy had me sweating beads that day, hoping that I'd pass. Luckily, I did.

I don't know why I assume that female driving instructors would be less nerve racking, but it is at least a positive one, I think. My daughter seemed to be on pins and needles, I could only imagine the mixture of emotions she must have been feeling at that moment as her instructor was talking to her. Joy, nervousness, anxiousness, maybe even a little nauseous... or maybe I'm confusing her with the feelings I had! I had sat in the waiting area for about an hour and a half, when I saw my daughter return with a big grin on her face giving me the thumbs up. Her driving instructor must have been very pleased with her road skills. Good for her!

To be honest, after all the times over the past few months she's been begging me to get her down to this place to take her driving lessons, it's nice to know that she aced it on her first try, so that I wouldn't have to go through the headache and the hour and a half wait again... but, of course that's me being lazy and selfish. All the same, I am happy that my little girl finally is getting her license. Now, I just hope she doesn't ask to borrow my car!
